Summary:
The primary role of the Sanitation employee will be to clean and maintain the Noosa facility.
Essential Functions:
Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
Performs minor repairs and maintenance.
Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and offices.
Performs limited grounds maintenance.
Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensures cleaning supplies are stocked.
Washes windows.
Assists in examining facility for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to the Safety or Quality Manager.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Awareness of which chemicals are appropriate for all tasks.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
Ability to keep the school clean and orderly.
Ability to interact with staff, students, parents, and visitors at school while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices while working in the plant.

Preferred:
Minimum one-year experience in a food manufacturing facility.
Physical Demands Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending.
Walking, bending arms, wrists, fingers, twisting/turning of head, shoulders, torso, and climbing.
Fine motor skills associated with laboratory measurement.
Must have sufficient use of eyes, ears, nose, and full power of speech.
Environmental Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to temperature fluctuations, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
